Herb cutting and planting! At North Herts Allotment

Join us for a fun morning and help support the community allotment at North Herts College. Your children will have the opportunity to learn about herbs, and how to make cuttings of the different herb plants. We will then be planting the herbs - such as mint, basil and chives - ready for the Spring!

Herbs are not only aromatic and tasty but also hardy and easy to grow, making them perfect for young gardeners and helping them learn about why it's important (and fun!) to grow your own food.

To find the session: NHC Community Allotment is based at the Stevenage campus of North Hertfordshire College, Monkswood Way, Stevenage, SG1 1LA. If travelling by car take the Asda exit off Monkswood Way but at the mini roundabout turn left into the college car park rather than right into Asda. Parking is free at the college.
